Three teenage girls have been charged following the alleged assault of a 13-year-old boy in central Geelong earlier this week.<\/p>\n
Victoria Police allege four female offenders assaulted the boy on Moorabool Street about 5.15pm on Monday, May 18.<\/p>\n
The teenager was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident.<\/p>\n
Police arrested three 14-year-old girls from the Geelong area yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n
All three have been charged with affray and behaving in a riotous manner in a public place.<\/p>\n
They were bailed to appear before a children\u2019s court at a later date.<\/p>\n
Police said the parties involved were known to each other.<\/p>\n
One alleged offender remains outstanding and investigations are continuing.<\/p>\n
Investigators are calling for witnesses or anyone with footage of the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n
