TUCKED into Geelong\u2019s creative arts precinct, Jade and May has quietly built a loyal following by doing things a little differently. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Less trend-driven fashion label, more thoughtful way of living, it is a place where natural fibres, slow mornings, well-made pieces and independent makers all sit comfortably together.<\/p>\n

Founded by Carlie in 2018, Jade and May began with a simple idea: sleepwear that actually felt good to wear.<\/p>\n

Nothing complicated, synthetic or designed to only last a season. Instead, breathable linen, soft bamboo and relaxed shapes made for real life.<\/p>\n

Pieces you could sleep in, lounge in, throw on for coffee, travel with or spend an entire Sunday wearing without feeling like you needed to change.<\/p>\n

That ease still sits at the centre of the brand today.<\/p>\n

Designed in Geelong and ethically produced in small batches through long-standing relationships with independent makers in Bali and India, the Jade and May collection has expanded beyond pyjamas into loungewear, resort wear, homewares and thoughtful gifts.<\/p>\n

The focus remains the same: natural fibres, considered production and pieces designed to be lived in rather than simply consumed.<\/p>\n

Alongside the in-house label sits the Jade and May lifestyle store.<\/p>\n

It is a warm, colourful retail space filled with independent brands, handcrafted homewares, ceramics, artwork and globally sourced treasures that feel collected rather than mass produced.<\/p>\n

Moroccan cushions sit beside handmade ceramics from Australian artists. Brassware from Indonesia shares shelves with locally designed linen pieces and small-batch body products.<\/p>\n

The store feels less like a traditional retail experience and more like stepping into somebody\u2019s beautifully layered home. Customers are encouraged to wander slowly and discover makers they may never have come across otherwise.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a strong sense of community woven through the business.<\/p>\n

From supporting independent artists and female-founded makers to introducing rotating art exhibitions throughout the store, Jade and May continues to evolve as both a retail destination and creative space within Geelong.<\/p>\n
