Torquay Lions<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>greatly appreciate the work being done at Mount Duneed and we are proud to be able to help in some way.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;The Torquay Lions have committed to supporting the centre for five years. At the end of the five-year financial support program we will review our commitment to Foundation 61 and consider then whether this is the best way ahead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Foundation 61 program director Rob Lytzki said the continued support of the Torquay Liond has been crucial to the centre&#8217;s existence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;They&#8217;ve been fantastic. They&#8217;ve sponsored a couple of rooms for several years for us. Without donations and sponsors like that we wouldn&#8217;t be able to survive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>In addition to their donations the Torquay Lions have previously given a large pizza oven to the centre and have held several barbecues with staff and members.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>People can donate and learn more about Foundation 61 online at <a href=\"http:\/\/foundation61.org.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">foundation61.org.au<\/a>.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A GEELONG rehabilitation centre recently received a cheque from a local Lions club to help provide support for their clients.
