ONE of Barwon Heads’ major roads is set to undergo resurfacing in the coming days.<\/p>\n

Starting Sunday, February 23, more than 300 metres of Golf Links Road between Reid Street and Clifford Parade will be resurfaced.<\/p>\n

The works are being funded by the state government as part of their Regional Roads Maintenance Blitz.<\/p>\n

Bellarine MP Lisa Neville said a lot of people would benefit from the improvements to Golf Links Road.<\/p>\n

“These works will make sure the thousands of drivers who use this road to travel between Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Geelong each day can look forward to a more reliable, smoother and safer journey.”<\/p>\n

The works will take place between 7.30pm-5am until February 27.<\/p>\n

Bridge Road and Golf Links Road will be closed at both ends of the works area during this time.<\/p>\n
