Our gate takings were up, it\u2019s just very satisfying when you put so much work into an agricultural show like this.<br \/>\n\u201cTo see people come and enjoy it; we had crowds gathered around the working dogs, snakes, sheering and cattle demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s such value for money. We had tractor and wagon rides which were a big hit, a vintage section with machinery, the baby animals were popular, and we had our chook section back this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30704\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30704\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-30704\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/21\/2020\/03\/Ag-Show-2-1-776x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"845\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30704\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lindsay holding son Miles, took his boys for a farm day out, with eldest son Riley readying to feed a cow.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ms McDonald said they were already in the process of planning next year\u2019s show, with crowd feedback overwhelmingly positive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone said they had a whole morning of fun, families loved that we handed out calico bags for our Discovery Trail this year.
