However, the state government has not provided any definitive dates for when competition will be permitted to resume, and the AFL Barwon Commission deemed further modification to the season unfeasible.<\/p>\n<p>Senior and Under 19 teams are still permitted to train but protocol must be followed.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement announcing the cancellation of the senior and under 19 competitions, AFL Barwon thanked all involved for their &#8220;patience, support and understanding throughout these challenging times&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>AFL Barwon also encouraged members to continue looking out for one another and keep on top of their mental and physical health.<\/p>\n<p>Presently there is no change to contact training and competition dates for Under 18 football and netball.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AFL Barwon has decided to cancel the senior female football and Under 19 football and netball seasons.
