QMF<\/a> means to so many of you, our loyal supporters, regular attendees, Q-Crew, sponsors, community members, artists, crew and many more whom this decision will ultimately impact.”<\/p>\nThe 24th QMF, which was to be held in November this year, has been postponed a year until November 26-28, 2021.<\/p>\n
“We held out as long as we could, in the hope that things would improve and that we might be able to hold a festival, and for a while there it really looked liked things were improving and we’d be able to,” Orvis said. “Unfortunately though, with the recent COVID-19 spike in Victoria, it is no longer possible.”<\/p>\n
All 2020 ticket holders will be contacted separately via email.<\/p>\n
QMF 2020 tickets will automatically transfer and become valid for QMF 2021 unless you wish to receive a refund.<\/p>\n
There is some good news, however, as Orvis revealed QMF was “busy working on some Plan B options”.<\/p>\n
“We would like to be able to have some music in Queenscliff this November 27-29 and\/or this summer if possible. In order to announce anything solid we need a clearer picture of restrictions though, so for now, it’s simply a ‘watch this space’.”<\/p>\n
