Provenance Wines has partnered with internationally-certified art studio Bells Fine Art to bring globally-renowned artist RONE home to Geelong.<\/h3>\n

RONE created a 25-square metre permanent mural last week at Provenance Wines\u2019 cellar door, which is located in a heritage-listed building in the Paper Mills precinct at Fyansford.<\/p>\n

He completed the 25-square-metre installation, titled “The forgotten soul of the Paper Mills”, at the winery in just four days, with lunch patrons able to catch a glimpse of the street artist at work in the historic building and cellar door.<\/p>\n

Belinda White, studio director at Bells Fine Art – which partnered with Provenance Wines<\/a> for the project – said RONE\u2019s muse depicted a soul from a former time when the space was a bustling paper mill.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer downward gaze is restful, her porcelain face is at peace. The highlights and shadowing in her features build a strong contrast between the light that is blanketing her face and the shadows of the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe light source from the set of windows that overlook the Barwon River, blanket her face, creating warmth and balance, highlighting her angelic features. She is depicted as youthful, an ethereal being, the oldest soul of the Paper Mills. So much time has passed since she spent time in this space, and at last she can take comfort in all the changes and new energy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe moody, sepia tones and textures of this innocent face are beautifully complimented by the surrounds. The sun, the light and the sounds, all her senses are triggered by her return. She is comforted by the familiar sounds of Buckley Falls.\u201d<\/p>\n
