Exactly when and how the annual regional wine event will take place are still unclear, with \u201cdates and details to be announced\u201d.<\/p>\n
Toast to the Coast was cancelled in 2020, one of many events to be rescheduled or put off entirely over the past 12 months as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
Typically held each year over the Melbourne Cup weekend, the two-day festival \u2013 one of the most anticipated events on the local calendar \u2013 showcases the very best in cool-climate wines and gourmet food from around the Moorabool Valley, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula.<\/p>\n
When last held in 2019, Toast to the Coast rolled out a new format, with the Saturday inviting people to tour wineries and cellar doors, while the Sunday saw 19 wineries offer 60 wines to try at Geelong venue The Pier.<\/p>\n
