The Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed two Geelong venues were exposed to the coronavirus on May 22.<\/p>\n

Barwon Health spokesperson Kate Bibby said the department alerted Barwon Health to the exposure sites yesterday (Saturday, June 12).<\/p>\n

Both sites have been classified as Tier 2.<\/p>\n

Barwon Health advises if you attended the following venues at the times listed you must get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result:
\nMay 22 between 6.37pm – 9.23pm – The Geelong Arena: 110 Victoria St, North Geelong.
\nMay 22 between 2.20pm – 3.45pm – The Sphinx Hotel: 2 Thompson Road, North Geelong.<\/p>\n

“Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or has been to an exposure site should get tested, and follow the Department of Health\u2019s instructions,” Ms Bibby said.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s also an important step to get vaccinated if you are eligible and want to help protect the community, while also staying informed on outbreaks and exposure sites as the situation develops.<\/p>\n
