{"id":39706,"date":"2021-06-28T04:15:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-27T18:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/?p=39706"},"modified":"2021-06-23T11:51:04","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T01:51:04","slug":"elaine-carbines-appointed-as-deputy-chair-of-ports-victoria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/elaine-carbines-appointed-as-deputy-chair-of-ports-victoria\/","title":{"rendered":"Elaine Carbines appointed as deputy chair of Ports Victoria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORMER G21 chief executive officer Elaine Carbines has been appointed as the deputy chair of Ports Victoria, which comes into being next month.<\/p>\n<p>The new body, announced in early March, is a merger of the Victorian Regional Channels Authority and the Victorian Ports Corporation, and will lead the strategic management and operation of Victoria&#8217;s commercial ports and waterways.<\/p>\n<p>The Victorian Government, which revealed the makeup of Ports Victoria&#8217; board on Wednesday last week, said Ms Carbines was a strong local leader who would provide critical knowledge of the Barwon region.<\/p>\n<p>Howard Ronaldson will chair the board.
