<\/p>\nOXYGEN College has established itself as a leading educator in all creative pursuits thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and second-to-none trainers.<\/p>\n
The College offers a range of part-time and full-time nationally accredited courses providing qualifications in Music Performance and Composition, Photography, Sound Production, Video Production, Digital Content Design and Visual Arts (painting and drawing).<\/p>\n
There are almost 500 students enrolled across its three campuses located in Geelong, Wyndham and Ballarat.<\/p>\n
Oxygen College offers full-time courses suited to those looking to develop a professional edge, while there are also three-hour once a week courses more tailored to hobby learners.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe key to creative training is you are training to do something you love, not something that will just be another nine-to-five,\u201d general manager Luke McNamara said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhilst jobs in the creative sector can be difficult to obtain, we are seeing examples of students leaving us and going on to follow their dreams in their chosen creative field.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we offer a broad range of courses, there are a range of pathways past students have gone onto both locally and internationally \u2013 from professional artists and photographers to game and screen composers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke said Oxygen College catered to all ages, skill levels, interests and ambitions.<\/p>\n
He said a wide demographic of students applied to the college as it offered both both part-time and full-time courses which gave it broad appeal.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have young students who want to pursue a professional career in sound production, to middle aged artists who want to quit their nine-to-five jobs and chase their dreams,\u201d Luke explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also have retirees who would like to reignite their creativity and attend our part-time classes.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone is suitable to apply. We can then go through eligibility and suitability to ensure we can offer the right course for the applicant.\u201d<\/p>\n
Luke said Oxygen College was proud to be a leader in its educational field and the staff were dedicated to supporting students in personalised ways to help them achieve their goals no matter what level they were at.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom start to finish, Oxygen\u2019s mission is to inspire, develop and support artists in achieving their personal and professional goals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Due to the large public platform generated by the music industry, Luke said the college had become well known for its Music Performance and Composition course but it was equally high achieving in all qualifications on offer.<\/p>\n

He said the new Digital Content Creation \u2013 a two-year course focusing on video and screen production, photography and content creation along with website management and other elements \u2013 was highly relevant and proving extremely popular.<\/p>\n
Oxygen College delivers training to eligible individuals with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Students may be eligible to receive funding for their courses under the Skills First Funding.<\/p>\n
Courses begin both at the start and middle of the year, with part-time courses now open for enrolment.<\/p>\n
