She\u2019s been wowing Hollywood. He\u2019s been touring Queanbeyan.<\/p>\n<p>But on the last night of the decade, Phil and Catherine reunite to count down to the end of a very dramatic era.<\/p>\n<p>Politics, the Great Depression, booze&#8230; and that\u2019s just in the dressing room!<\/p>\n<p>Caught somewhere between <em>Casablanca<\/em> and <em>The Cotton Club<\/em>, join award-winning maestro of mischief Phil Scott and powerhouse canary Catherine Alcorn for a thrilling joyride back to their 18-carat lounge act, where the audience will soon see she\u2019s 30-something and he\u2019s&#8230; not.<\/p>\n<p>Alcorn is an award winning artist and producer who works extensively in theatre, cabaret and television.\u200b<\/p>\n<p>As an artist, she has produced and performed in national and international tours of her own stage shows <em>The Divine Miss Bette, Go Your Own Way: The Story of Christine McVie <\/em>and<em> Cathartic<\/em>, and is a regular fixture in festival programs including Adelaide Cabaret Festival and Sydney Festival and as ambassador for Noosa Long Weekend and Ballarat Cabaret Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Scott is an actor, singer, pianist, writer and comedian.<\/p>\n<p>Between 2000 to 2017 he co-wrote, composed and performed as an actor\/musician in the award-winning Wharf Revue series of political satirical revues for the Sydney Theatre Company.<\/p>\n<p>He co-wrote and performed in <em>Reviewing the Situation<\/em>, which was nominated for a Helpmann Award in 2016, and was the composer and co-writer of AWGIE Award-winning musical <em>The Republic of Myopia<\/em> in 2004.<\/p>\n<p>The dress code for<em> 30 Something<\/em> is \u201cPuttin\u2019 on the Ritz\u201d. If you\u2019re gonna party like it\u2019s 1939, it\u2019s only fair to dress for the occasion, so blow your wig and top up your giggle juice. The spiffiest doll or fella will be awarded a twin pack of wine for best dressed on the night, donated by Provenance Wines.<\/p>\n<p><em>30 Something<\/em> will be performed at Provenance Wines, 100 Lower Paper Mills Road, Fyansford, on August 28.
