BE TAKEN on a journey of discovery with a unique dining experience at Little Creatures, with a menu sourced locally by sustainability focused producers.<\/p>\n

Guests at next week’s 100 Mile Dinner will be hosted by the Geelong brewery’s Craft Beer Ambassador and enjoy a canap\u00e9 and beer on arrival followed by a three-course menu, matched to some of the finest Little Creatures beers.<\/p>\n

Based on the idea that “what we do today, impacts tomorrow”, the menu has been sourced from sustainability-focused producers, all within 100 miles (or just over 160 kilometres) of the Little Creatures canteen.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we are concerned about the environment, the climate and sustainability in our homes and communities, it makes sense to bring these conversations into the workplace,” Little Creatures Brewing executive chef Stephen Shing said.<\/p>\n

“At Little Creatures, we are hoping to show the hospitality industry that change can happen but it has to start somewhere. We are proud to be part of this change.\u201d<\/p>\n

The brewery is supporting “Shuck don\u2019t Chuck”, one of Australia\u2019s most innovative, eco-friendly projects, and guests will hear from the team and learn how you can get involved.<\/p>\n

“Little Creatures was the first hospitality venue in Australia to join the \u2018Shuck Don\u2019t Chuck\u2019 project and has been an amazing partner and supporter for the past seven years,” The Nature Conservancy Australia’s Simon Branigan said.<\/p>\n

“The mussel shells recycled from Little Creatures for the past seven years have contributed to the restoration of five hectares of shellfish reefs in Geelong, which are providing cleaner water, and more fish and habitat for many other species.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Little Creatures 100 Mile Dinner will be held at the Little Creatures Brewing, 221 Swanston Street, Geelong, on March 24 at 6.30pm.<\/p>\n
