After having a few years off Geelong’s Longest Lunch due to the pandemic, executive chef at Davidson, Daniel Brehaut said he can not wait to throw his chef whites on for a great cause.<\/p>\n
“I’ve been a part of the Geelong’s Longest Lunch for about 15 years and it will be great to get back in the swing of things after the stop and start of the pandemic,” Mr Brehaut said.<\/p>\n
“Being a part of it for such a long time, I’ve seen the builds and what’s been achieved from the children’s ward to the other parts of the hospitals.<\/p>\n
“You see the results when you go in to check out the hospital and being a part of something like that is awesome.”<\/p>\n
Set to be hosted by foodie sensation Sarah Pounder (Wholesome by Sarah), the event will also include exclusive, money can’t buy dining experiences will be donated by local venues and their chefs.<\/p>\n
All funds from the event will support and enhance the health of those undertaking treatment at Barwon Health facilities across the region.<\/p>\n
