“We’ve been putting the fundraiser up online with a bit of social media advertising, spreading the word among family and friends,” Mr Nadolski said.<\/p>\n
“I had seen the convoy around online, and pretty soon after asking the guys, we were keen to take part.<\/p>\n
“We’ll be getting the trucks clean and ready, going for a drive on the Sunday around Geelong, it should be good day.”<\/p>\n
Anyone with a truck or motorbike can still join the convoy with registrations closing on February 13.<\/p>\n
Spectators are being encouraged to cheer on the trucks streetside and enjoy a “trucking good time”.<\/p>\n
Rides and entertainment will also start from 10.30am at Avalon Raceway on the day. Vehicles are expected to arrive back to Avalon Raceway around 11.00am. The convoy will officially begin at 9.00am.<\/p>\n
