Self-dubbed the “Time Lord”, Mr Watson said the event was designed for people who have ever felt they don’t have enough time for how much they need to do.<\/p>\nEFFECTIVE time management skills were the focus of a Geelong Young Professionals (GYP) networking breakfast at GMHBA Stadium earlier this month.<\/p>\n
Led by Geelong-based trainer, facilitator and speaker Les Watson of business Get More Time, the crowd of more than 140 were asked to consider how they could improve their efficiency and achieve more by working smarter, rather than harder.
\nSelf-dubbed the “Time Lord”, Mr Watson said the event was designed for people who have ever felt they don’t have enough time for how much they need to do.<\/p>\n
“Ask yourself these questions: Am I maximising my leadership potential? How do I know if I have blindspots that could sabotage my success in my chosen field question? Have I been missing simple or obvious solutions to small and large challenges in my professional life?”

\nMr Watson’s 30 years’ experience as a trainer working throughout Australia and south-east Asia has been distilled in his book Get Back An Hour In Every Day, and attendees of the networking breakfast listened intently as he walked them through his key time saving tips.<\/p>\n
“There was an incredible energy and many eager learners at our first breakfast for 2023,” the GYP Committee said of the event.
