“It may not be ideal to use neighbouring properties as a benchmark for this development.<\/p>\n
“The previous development was completed more than 15 years ago, and since then, significant changes have taken place in the building industry.<\/p>\n
“Pursuing a similar development today may not be financially viable, considering the current costs and expected returns.<\/p>\n
“Our primary focus is to ensure that our clients’ needs are met while also adhering to all relevant regulations and standards set by the council.”<\/p>\n
Designers also indicated they made adjustments during the planning process which included minimising “overall bulk” of buildings and shifting driveways to reduce impacts on neighbouring pedestrians.<\/p>\n
