A new Waurn Ponds land release is bucking the trend of shrinking residential lots with lots of more than 850sqm hitting the market.<\/p>\n
The latest release at The Grange is an ultra-rare chance to purchase spacious plots within suburban Geelong that are twice the size of median land sizes in the city’s greenfield expansion in recent years.<\/p>\n
Just eight of the properties will be released.<\/p>\n
The developer has tagged the new Hams Road release as its “golden mile” with lots ranging from 854sqm to 978sqm, creating expansive frontages that allow for dual driveways.<\/p>\n
Developers expect the land to be in hot demand and are selling them by expressions of interest.<\/p>\n
The new estate has already proven popular with buyers in earlier releases, with some willing to camp out for several days to secure their preferred lots in April.<\/p>\n
A total of 36 lots will become available across the project with lots ranging up to 1,310sqm.<\/p>\n
A walking trail and parklands will run through the existing estate and connect with the neighbouring Birchmore estate.<\/p>\n
