RACE entries to the 2023 Geelong Revival Motoring Festival have officially opened with 300 contestants expected to rev up along Geelong\u2019s Waterfront.<\/p>\n
Competition entries for the festival\u2019s Quarter Mile sprint and Shannons Motor-show are now open to car enthusiasts with the annual event to run in Geelong from November 24-26.<\/p>\n
Geelong\u2019s Waterfront has provided the backdrop to the festival\u2019s high-octane atmosphere since its origin in 1956, capturing the hearts of motoring enthusiasts and serving as a major highlight on the year-round Geelong calendar.<\/p>\n
“We’re lucky enough to have a fantastic, passionate community of motoring enthusiasts who are all eager to show off their amazing collections,\u201d event director Nicholas Heath said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe’re also really keen to deliver some new and exciting activities at this year’s event \u2013 things never before seen at Geelong Revival.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Quarter Mile Sprint has been a cornerstone portion of the festival since its inception with 300 spots allocated for thrill-seekers to ignite the competitive spirit of the event over several classes.<\/p>\n
Event organisers have refreshed the sprint\u2019s format to culminate in a Top Ten Shootout to conclude each day of racing.<\/p>\n
The Shannons Motor Show Display provides a platform for passionate car and motorbike enthusiasts to showcase top-tier vehicles.<\/p>\n
The display serves as a testament to the remarkable collections within the motoring community.<\/p>\n
Spectators will get the chance to be up-close and personal with a variety of automotive masterpieces.<\/p>\n
