DOZENS of Geelong\u2019s top-performing businesses and business people have their names up in lights as finalists for the 2023 Geelong Business Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n

The Geelong Chamber of Commerce yesterday (Thursday, August 3) announced the 59 organisations and six individuals in the running for this year\u2019s prestigious prizes, presented by LBW Business + Wealth Advisors.<\/p>\n

The 20 award category winners and annual business leader and young entrepreneur of the year will all be revealed at the GBEA\u2019s yearly awards ceremony in October.<\/p>\n

Chamber chief executive officer Jeremy Crawford said the shortlisted entries were the pick of a massive volume of entries received in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year we received a record number of 519 nominations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to the Geelong Business community for supporting and nominating deserving business and business leaders.<\/p>\n

\u201cI warmly congratulate this year\u2019s businesses and extend our well-deserved recognition to them as Geelong Business Excellence Awards finalists.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhilst not all entrants can become finalists of the program, we sincerely hope all the participants gained value in answering the key entry criteria and utilise this years\u2019 experience to re-enter next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

The chamber has now opened ticket sales for its 2023 Geelong Business Awards Presentation.<\/p>\n

The annual celebration will be at GMHBA Stadium on October 19.<\/p>\n

Guests on the night will enjoy a night of food, drinks, entertainment to celebrate achievements of the whole<\/p>\n

Geelong business community and award winners.<\/p>\n
