Local family business Nelson Financial’s expertise and service to its clients has been recognised at this year’s prestigious Australian Financial Group (AFG) Broker Awards.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was held at the Crown Ballroom and attended by Victoria’s leading brokers. The Torquay-based firm was awarded Regional Broker of the Year for Victoria\/Tasmania, and was a finalist in Industry Community Broker Group.<\/p>\n
This year’s win follows last year’s success for Nelson Financial when it received the Community Award, acknowledging outstanding volunteer work within the region.<\/p>\n
AFG was established in 1994 and has grown to become one of Australia’s largest mortgage broking groups and leaders in financial solutions.<\/p>\n
Nelson Financial director Paul Nelson said the Regional Broker of the Year award was judged on five key areas across the business.<\/p>\n
“This is great recognition of our business – we are very humbled to win the award and receive recognition from our peers within AFG.”<\/p>\n

“We pride ourselves on educating our clients, which has always been top priority, so that they make can make an educated and informed financial decision with their financial direction.”<\/p>\n

Nelson Financial opened in 2011. Mr Nelson has been in the lending and financial field since 2001, and the team has 45 years of combined experience.<\/p>\n
