WARRALILY’S Autumn Market has become a highlight for locals in Geelong and along the Surf Coast, and the event will be presented again next weekend.<\/p>\n

Presented by Picadilly Events at Mirrambeena Park, the day will be filled with local artisans and creators, with everything from handcrafted furniture to unique nature-inspired jewellery.<\/p>\n

Stallholders include many familiar favourites, as well as newcomers such as S. Chevillet Furniture with ottomans, footstools and reupholstered pieces crafted in Armstrong Creek and Moku Moku Designs’ hand-made jewellery of polymer clay and resin.<\/p>\n

A market favourite, Lauren McQuade Handmade, embodies the soul of local artisans and makers.<\/p>\n

The small batch ceramics business was born from McQuade’s desire to enjoy slow living by the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n

McQuade said making ceramics her career was a dream come true.<\/p>\n

“From the moment I sat at the wheel, I fell in love with the craft. It offered a change of pace from my busy lifestyle – a meditation.<\/p>\n

“I love introducing market goers to my one-of-a-kind handmade ceramics.<\/p>\n

“Markets like Warralily’s often contribute to community spirit and support local businesses, making them an integral part of the social fabric.”<\/p>\n

For more local talent, look out for Geelong artost Arty Chelles Corner or This Design’s handmade jewellery accentuated by beautiful gemstones and lustrous pearls.<\/p>\n

For something spicy, try The Chilli Crew’s preservative-free fermented hot sauces.<\/p>\n

On the entertainment front, children can delight in face painting, cuddle furry farm friends, or explore the Mirambeena shipwreck-inspired<\/p>\n

playground while grooving to the beats of Moto Bella, Australia’s unique DJ musical experience on wheels.<\/p>\n

Bring a picnic blanket or use one supplied at the market and indulge in a diverse array of culinary delights from local vendors including 3rd Reef Coffee, Those LiRle Poffertjes, Gypsy Burger, Vietnam Food House, Oz Whip Gelato, Food Station Mexican and Eye Turkish food.<\/p>\n
