{"id":94123,"date":"2024-04-12T01:04:28","date_gmt":"2024-04-11T15:04:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/?p=94123"},"modified":"2024-04-11T09:25:43","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T23:25:43","slug":"business-growth-through-sport-at-the-geelong-racing-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/geelongtimes\/news\/business-growth-through-sport-at-the-geelong-racing-club\/","title":{"rendered":"Business growth through sport at the Geelong Racing Club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Together with the Geelong Racing Club, Geelong Chamber of Commerce will host a &#8216;Business Growth Through Sport&#8217; event on April 24.<\/p>\n<p>The event is a chance for the business community to learn how they can leverage sport opportunities to grow their businesses and expand some of their brands.<\/p>\n<p>Geelong Chamber of Commerce chief executive Jeremy Crawford said it&#8217;s important that business leaders and owners in Geelong are aware of some of the opportunities they can leverage to help grow their businesses through the power of sport.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve got a really collegiate community in Geelong and the participation in sport is ingrained into a lot of business activities,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_132141\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-132141\" style=\"width: 602px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-132141 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/04\/11.04.2024_09.06.21_REC.png?_t=1712790661\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"316\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-132141\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Geelong Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Jeremy Crawford.
