From Portarlington to Lara, to Colac and everywhere in between, there is a Meli kindergarten close by.<\/p>\n

Next week, families can visit their local Meli kindergarten for themselves.<\/p>\n

As part of Education Week (May 13-17), Meli welcomes all to join in on its kindergarten open days.<\/p>\n

Local families are invited to see first-hand how Meli kindergartens are providing an educational experience that is inclusive, innovative and of course, lots of fun.<\/p>\n

Families will be able to see the indoor and outdoor learning spaces, ask the educators questions and there will be some freebies for the children who come along.<\/p>\n

Meli is the region’s largest kindergarten network, with 30 kindergartens across the Geelong region, including the Bellarine Peninsula, Queenscliff and Colac offering 15 hours a week of free, 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten.<\/p>\n

As well as being the largest kindergarten provider, Meli is proven to provide high quality kindergarten education, with several kindergartens in the network achieving the highest rating in the National Quality Standard (NQS) by the Department of Education and Training.<\/p>\n

Each kindergarten incorporates an anti-bias approach, meaning<\/p>\n

Meli educators work with every child, every day to promote kindness, equity and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Meli also specialises in parenting groups, pre-school readiness with its HIPPY programs, and its early childhood approach through its partnership with the NDIS,<\/p>\n

making it a leader in the early childhood space.<\/p>\n

“We are so pleased to be able to open the doors to our kindergartens next week,” director of children’s services Mandy Baxter said.<\/p>\n

“It’s a good opportunity for families to come and see our incredible kindergartens and meet our dedicated educators.<\/p>\n

“Whether you are in Geelong, Lara, Colac, Queenscliff, Mount Duneed or the Bellarine Peninsula, there is a Meli kindergarten not too far away, ready to welcome your child and your family.”<\/p>\n

All 30 of Meli’s kindergartens will be throwing open their doors for Open Week from May 13-17.<\/p>\n
