“Finally being able to open what I would say is our dream location, our dream project that we’ve been planning and hoping to bring to life over the past few years, having the doors open was a real dream come true for us.<\/p>\n
“To have so many well-wishers and people from the community come forward and show support was very heartwarming, we really appreciate everything.<\/p>\n
“We know as with anything launching something, there’s always things to learn, there’s always feedback, there’s things that can always and will always be better, but as I was saying to a lot of people, our commitment is that it can only get better from here.”<\/p>\n
He said Armstrong Barbecue would be adding large-screen TVs to show sports and completing its outdoor area, and soon offering take-away meats so people can eat Texas barbecue at home.<\/p>\n
“We’d like to be of service to the community as a place to meet up, catch up, have a few drinks, watch some sport or just hang out with family.”<\/p>\n
Armstrong Barbecue is open for dinner from Thursdays to Saturdays, and for lunch from Fridays to Sundays.<\/p>\n
