How long have you lived in your council? I’ve lived in Golden Plains Shire since early 2020.

Community involvement: Volunteer firefighter with the Smythesdale brigade. Member of the Scarsdale Country Women’s Association. Associated with a political party or movement?

No, I have no party affiliation. I have never been a party member.

Preferencing: I’m asking my supporters to put a one next to my name and number the other boxes as they see fit.

Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?

$1500 which covers my printed materials, website and advertising. I haven’t received any financial assistance. My campaign relies on the help of my close friends and supporters.

Three most important issues in your area?

In a lot of our townships and localities, people feel the council has forgotten or ignored them. I hope…I can provide better coverage… Council is under-performing in certain areas such as roads and roadside slashing, and I want to address the lack of investment… I really hope to see seven councillors who can conduct themselves with professionalism, in particular being able to respectfully disagree. This is crucial so that the council can operate effectively to serve the community.
