Pyrenees Hideout Festival announce activities for all ages

Organisers of the Pyrenees Hideout Festival, to be held on 11 February in Beaufort, have announced a range of extra activities and attractions for children and adults at the event, cementing the event as a fun day out for the whole family.

The festival featuring musical acts such as Daryl Braithwaite, Kasey Chambers and Travis Collins will also include a dedicated children’s area with face painting, arts and craft magic shows, hoola hoop workshops and more games and entertainment.

For adults, the festival grounds will host a special interest car display featuring classic and muscle cars to keep enthusiasts occupied while taking a break from musical performances or sample Pyrenees wine with tastings provided from local wineries.

Other performers appearing at the one day event include The Black Sorrows, Caitlyn Harnett & the Pony Boys, Bones & Jones, Freya Josephine Hollick, Marcus Cassells and The BAHA Collective.

Shuttle buses will operate from Ballarat, Daylesford, Maryborough, Stawell and Avoca with festival and transport tickets available at pyreneesshideout.com.au.

In addition to these activities, the event will also comprise an extensive market area offering a wide range of food, drink, clothing, art and more for the shoppers among attendees.

Pyrenees Hideout Festival will be held on 11 February at the Goldfields Recreation Reserve in Beaufort from midday. Tickets are currently on sale for adults at $85, concession $75, teenagers $60 and family passes for $198 while children under 12 enjoy free entry.
