Centre Manager at Delacombe Town Centre, Garrath Holdstock said community inclusion and engagement we’re both every important to the centre.

“DTC is humbled by the support we have received from the community since we first opened in 2017 and giving back to the community is very important to us.

“Through providing free entertainment, and welcoming locals to our centre, we hope to continue to foster that community spirit that Ballarat is so well known for,” Mr Holdstock said.

As the sun sets, the team from Showbiz Cinemas will be showing 2019’s live action The Lion King on the big outdoor screen, absolutely free of charge. Their pop-up candy bar will also be serving the traditional choc-tops and popcorn to add to the cinema experience.

Showbiz Cinemas owner, Chris Jones, highlighted how excited his team was to bring the re-creation of the much-loved Lion King to the big screen at the upcoming event.

“The Outdoor Cinema creates a buzz for all ages, and it is really exciting to be able to recreate that movie experience in an outdoor space,” he said.

“We welcome the whole community along to the event, which is free of charge, as our way of thanking our local locals for their ongoing support.”

Twilight Market & Outdoor Cinema is set for Delacombe Town Centre, supported by Showbiz Cinemas at the corner of Cherry Flat Road and the Glenelg Highway.

Don’t forget to bring along your rug, low chairs and outdoor beanbag for a comfortable outdoor cinema experience.
