Sweet celebration!
Bake & Grind mark two years at DTC
FOR Delacombe Town Centre’s Bake & Grind it has been an experience like no other, since they opened their doors in 2019.
Following on from their earlier successful bakeries, Bake & Grind owners Paul and Jodie Dawson brought their popular model of fresh bread, delicious savouries, sandwiches as well as their famous donuts to DTC’s busy foodie strip.
Despite being able trade throughout the COVID-19 rollercoaster, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Bake & Grind who have had to contend with the changing restrictions and requirements that have come with the pandemic.
They credit the unwavering support of their customers and community for their success in surviving, and now thriving, over the past two years.
“We have been lucky to have so many familiar faces visit us regularly for their morning coffee, for lunchbox essentials, tradie ‘smokos’ and after school treats,” Ms Dawson said.
“As we celebrate our 2nd birthday at DTC this Saturday it is our opportunity to give back to those who have supported us, and our staff.”
On Saturday 30 October, Bake & Grind will be offering amazing deals, like $2 medium coffees and a family pie and half-dozen donut combo for only $20.
“One of our huge drawcards this Saturday is our huge giveaway. Anyone who spends $15 in store will enter the draw to win $1000 worth of DTC vouchers,” Ms Dawson said.
“The prize includes vouchers from Griffin Burger, The Butchers Club, Country Roasts, Easy Street Valet Carwash and Showbiz Cinemas.”
You can check out all the action at Bake & Grind, Delacombe Town Centre, from 6am to 4pm, this Saturday 30 October.
