B31 explodes with information
B31 was the name of a Douglas bomber aircraft developed during WWII.
It is also the moniker for Commerce Ballarat’s B31 Business Festival running across the month of August and gets its official launch this afternoon.
Like the bomber’s cargo, the Festival will ignite rapid fire knowledge and drop development, communication and networking opportunities too good to miss.
B31 is packed with actionable events, from starting a business, to marketing, through to effective leadership and management.
Over breakfast and lunch, during and after business hours, the B31 calendar sessions are presented by business organisations such as Commerce Ballarat, Highlands LLEN, Australian Taxation Office and Federation Business School.
Workshops, all-day events, webinars and even a progressive dinner will give business owners, managers and employees new skills to create a podcast, write a tender, and build meaningful and authentic relationships and much more.
Dr Moulik Zaveri, marketing expert at Federation Business School; Victorian Small Business Commissioner Judy O’Connell; Kelly Fawcett from The Foundation of Youth Australia and Peter Maplestone, Senior Consultant at the Victorian Chamber of Commerce are just some of the high calibre and qualified speakers and presenters taking part in B31.
Around 30 per cent of the events on offer at the festival are free of charge and the month-long program of events will culminate in the 2019 Federation Business School Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards.
