THE Bannockburn and District Chamber of Commerce will release the second edition of their Bannockburn and District Business Directory in March.

President Bronwyn Davie said the Chamber has 80 businesses booked for advertising, but hopes to include 120 in the 2022 book.

“The Directory is something that each Bannockburn and district home will have,” she said.

“It can sit where the old phone book used to sit, and when someone needs a specific business, service or trade, they can easily look someone from the local area.”

Businesses must be Chamber members to advertise. Non-members who buy an ad will receive their membership as an inclusion within the ad rate. Advertising prices start at $150, with copywriting for an additional $30.

Pre-existing Chamber members will receive a free ad on one eighth of a page, or they can pay extra for more room.

“You must be a locally-based business to advertise, to ensure the directory is useful to our consumers,” Ms Davie said.

“We will accept those that are further away, as long as there is no competing business from the region. We don’t have a carpet cleaning service in Bannockburn, for example.”

Home-based businesses are welcome to advertise. All ads are colour. Bookings must be made by Monday, 21 February via [email protected].

The Chamber hopes to get their Friday night networking events at the Bannockburn pub back up and running from next month.
