Business bus back on the road
THE Victorian Government’s Small Business Bus will be returning to Golden Plains Shire with stops in Smythesdale and Bannockburn this month.
The bus seeks to give support to people who may want to start a business, or who run one, by providing advice on how to grow and be successful.
Minister for Small Business, Natalie Suleyman, said it’s important the State Government assists those running small businesses, especially in rural and regional Victoria.
“Small businesses make a vital contribution to Victoria’s economy,” she said.
“Business Victoria’s Small Business Bus brings the experts to where they are needed, travelling right around the state, to offer in-person, real time advice to small business owners and sole traders.”
The bus has been running since 2010 and State Government data says the service has helped more than 39,000 people with their businesses in more than 320 locations around the Victoria.
“The Small Business Bus can connect small business owners in regional communities with the services they need, help build their capability and develop their business,” said Ms Suleyman.
The Bus will be in Bannockburn on Monday, 19 June at 22 High Street and in Smythesdale on Thursday, 22 June at 62 Brook Street.
