Cancer information via Podcast

A series of five podcasts aimed at guiding patients through what to expect when first being diagnosed with cancer has been created and released by Ballarat Health Services.

Patients can download the series, full of practical information on how to come to come to terms with the diagnosis, onto their device for free.

The podcasts available from Cancer Survivor Guide website, iTunes, Google Play and Spotify can be listened at patient’s own pace wherever they may be.

The project is an initiative of the Grampians Integrated Cancer Service Consumer Advisory Group based at BHS, and is funded by the Health Issues Centre.

It is a collaboration between BHS, Ballarat Cancer Care, St John of God Ballarat Hospital, Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-operative and the Cancer Council.
