THE YMCA in Bannockburn will be the place to be early next month for anyone considering their future work options or for those simply looking to change their career.

The venue will again host the Golden Plains Careers Expo from 10am to 5pm on Thursday 4 June.

It is being touted as a valuable opportunity for people to connect with industry leaders and local businesses as they consider their career direction.

The expo will also feature a variety of diverse education and career pathways, along with tips and advice on how to strengthen people’s employment prospects.

Attendees will have the chance to meet and engage with representatives from education, skills and training providers, emergency services, the Australian Defence Force, local government, agriculture and a wide range of other sectors.

There will also be an opportunity to discover more about coming local industry nights and accredited training opportunities, as well as hear from guest speakers who will share industry insights, pathway information and practical job-seeker skill development advice.

“Whether you’re a student, job-seeker or looking to make a career change, this event brings valuable information and inspiration right to our community.

“We’re proud to host an event that brings together education providers, local businesses, emergency services, the Australian Defence Force and so many other sectors.
