Clunes P.S. students awarded for service to the community
CLUNES Primary School students Hannah Farren and Flynn Thomas have received citizenship awards service to the community.
The awards we’re recently presented to the students for exceptional support to their community and they both received a certificate and a cheque for $200.
The awards are sponsored by the All Nations Masonic Lodge at Clunes together with the Victorian Freemasons Foundation.
“Both Hannah and Flynn have shown leadership at school and been an example to their peers in the work and time they have given to the local Clunes community,” said Merv Romeo, Worshipful Master of the Clunes Lodge.
“It is wonderful to see these students taking this role of support and caring for their community.”
Mr Romeo said Hannah and Flynn have set a standard for their classmates and this will provide a goal that younger students could aspire to.
