Community Corner is back!
AS our region reawakens from a COVID-19 induced slumber we know that our many community groups and not-for-profits are very keen to get back to doing what they do best – helping people, putting on great events and generally making where we live a better place.
With that in mind we’ve made the call to return to publishing our highly popular and free Community Corner section, and once again we’re inviting you to be a part of it.
However, we know things are going to be a little different for the foreseeable future.
We’re still very keen to publish listings for community groups and not-for-profits that are doing great things, but also, feel free to tell us how your event or activity is COVID-safe.
You might be in a new space, have limits on the number of people who can take part or be working in guidelines around social distancing.
As always, the deadline for Community Corner remains unchanged. All free notices, and changes of notices, need to be in by 11am on the Thursday the week before publication with submissions emailed to [email protected].
Aim to keep all notices to 50 words or less and be aware that they could be edited or declined at our discretion, and please remember, Community Corner is not open to commercial or for-profit listings.
We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward receiving your submissions soon.
