Disability Awards nominations open

BALLARAT residents are encouraged to apply for state-wide Victorian Disability Awards, celebrating those who champion disability rights and participation in the community.

Nominations are open to people with a disability, family members, volunteers and workers in the sector.

Member for Wendouree, Juliana Addison said the awards honour those who are outstanding supporters, leaders, advocates, service people and educators.

“The Andrews Government is building an inclusive community where everyone can reach their full potential, and these awards recognise people who are helping to make this happen,” she said.
