GOLDEN Plains Shire community members are invited to connect with industry leaders and local businesses at a careers expo next month.
The Golden Plains Careers Expo will be held on Friday 6 June from 10am until 6pm at the YMCA in Bannockburn.
People of all ages can learn about educational opportunities and career pathways from skills and training institutions, emergency services, the Australian Defence Force, local government and more.
Golden Plains Shire acting mayor Cr Helena Kirby said the event will be a great chance to network.
“This event offers numerous benefits for job seekers – allowing networking opportunities, information gathering about industries and companies and the chance to make a memorable impression,” she said.
“The expo isn’t just exclusive to young people; it’s a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to explore their career options and training opportunities.
“We look forward to welcoming a variety of industry professionals and special guest speakers who will discuss industry information, pathway support and job seeker skill development.”
Registration is required and can be made on the Golden Plains Shire website.
