Donation for new equipment

RECENTLY the Eureka Daylight Masonic Lodge, with the support of the Freemasons Victoria Foundation, donated $500 to the Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute.

The money will go towards purchasing a digital tube revolver for one of organisation’s ovarian cancer projects. Lodge member, Graeme Brown, FECR’s Professor George Kannourakis and mason Richard Foale were on hand for the presentation.

Professor Kannourakis said the piece of equipment would significantly help researchers in their work, and the continued financial support from the Masonic fraternity is greatly appreciated.
