Drought Angels get over $3k
BALLARAT Agricultural and Pastoral Society has a made $3,234 donation to Drought Angels.
BAPS raised the money during November’s Ballarat Show through an initiative within the Ram Shed where show goers could donate and get their name on a star wall.
$500 of the money, was from the sale of fleeces donated from the Spring Show Fleece Competition and will go specifically towards men’s health.
“Drought Angels was chosen as it is a not for profit organisation and all proceeds raised goes directly to the Australian Farmers,” said BAPS executive officer Lucy Quartermain.
