THE inaugural Mars Wrigley Confectionery-Power FM Easter Egg Hunt is set for 10am on Saturday, 20 April at Alfred Deakin Place.

Children will search for Mars Easter Eggs and Malteser Bunnies in constructed hay areas, and they will hunt in their age groups.

Power FM will broadcast live from the Easter Egg Hunt, other activities and food trucks will be on site and well as an exciting visit from the Easter Bunny.

General Manager of Power FM, John Fitzgibbon said the event has proved popular already.

“We didn’t know what to expect and are amazed things sold out so quickly,” he said. “The team really want to focus on delivering the best possible experience on the day, so we won’t be trying to increase numbers this year.

“Mars Wrigley Confectionery couldn’t partner with us quick enough. They love the chance to do something for the Ballarat Community. The City of Ballarat are really supportive as well.”

Bettatech Communications, Hotondo Homes, Ballarat City Honda and Subaru, and The Cleaners Room are all event sponsors who have made the hunt viable in its first year.
