EOIs open for summer art initiative
The free, community-based program includes exhibitions across three locations at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre, The Well at Smythesdale, and the Golden Plains Civic Centre at Bannockburn.
The initiative aims to increase access to the arts within the community and provide professional development opportunities for emerging and established artists.
“Golden Spaces is proving to be one of our most successful programs which is a true testament to the remarkable talent of artists who have exhibited their artwork so far,” Golden Plains Shire mayor Cr Owen Sharkey said.
“I urge not only local artists, but artists in the surrounding regions of Golden Plains to apply to exhibit at the 2025 Summer Exhibition.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your portfolio and showcase your work in a professional setting.”
The Golden Spaces winter exhibition launched on Saturday 7 June, while last year’s summer exhibition is still on display at The Well at Smythesdale.
Expressions of Interest are open until 5pm, Friday 29 August on the Golden Plains Shire website.
