Feedback wanted on priority projects
RESIDENTS in the Bannockburn area are being encouraged to give their two cents on what they’d like to see happening across the community.
Since last year, members of the Bannockburn Community Planning Group have been working on the Bannockburn Community Plan 2023-2027 and are asking for feedback on its prioritised projects.
Those interested to contribute have until 5pm this Tuesday to have their say on the plan via an online survey.
Following initial consultation, the Bannockburn Community Planning Group have outlined a Community Vision around the plan with $10,000 in seed funding provided by Golden Plains Shire.
Questions are centred around whether submitters agree with the listed initiatives and what else they would like to see for Bannockburn, as well as their age demographic and connection to the town.
Priorities outlined include a Bannockburn community newsletter which $3000 would be spent on, while $1300 would go towards activities and events. Further funds would go towards environmental efforts and focus on the town’s historical and heritage character.
