BANNOCKBURN-based Golden Plains First National Real Estate has won nine state and national awards for their property sales work.

At a national presentation in Canberra, Golden Plains First National Real Estate was celebrated for having the highest number of exclusive lifestyle listings, settled lifestyle sales, and the highest gross lifestyle sales commission.

A statewide recognition process has also seen Rene Pompe receive the Diamond Agent Award and Owen Sharkey receive the Platinum Agent Award, while the highest gross sales, number of exclusive listings and settled sales, and Elite Sales Office honour also went to the Bannockburn franchise.

Mr Sharkey said their success is reflective of the region’s large, fast expansion and its population boom.

“We’re selling the most lifestyle properties in Australia for an office our size. We’ve seen prices rise 28.4 per cent in Bannockburn in the last 12 months, which is huge,” he said.

“A lot of people, like older residents, are deciding to cash in and move into Geelong or further out.

“These awards also come down to the pure art, execution and skills of our talented agents as well.”

Golden Plains First National Real Estate team includes Mr Pompe as director and sales professional, and Mr Sharkey as a licenced estate agent and auctioneer, alongside principal and office manager Tammy Miller, sales assistant and business development staffer Liam Harrington, property manager Tiffany Oman, and receptionist Sue Dyson.

The branch is one of 400 First National Real Estate satellite offices in Australia.
