Free fun this autumn holidays

GOLDEN Plains Shire officers are offering a range of activities for young people throughout the autumn school holidays.

Running from Monday 7 April until Thursday 17 April, the events are opened to people aged 12 to 25.

The program is designed to support the needs and interests of young people while also providing opportunities to learn new skills.

Activities include virtual reality gaming competitions, BMX and scooter workshops, paintball and an Aradale Lunatic Asylum Day Tour.

There are also opportunities to take part in level two first aid training or white card training.

Mayor Cr Sarah Hayden said the program has a great range of activities.

“Council has organised a range of activities designed to keep young people engaged with their peers while having fun,” she said.
