Free grant writing workshop on offer

GOLDEN Plains Shire Council is hosting a free grant writing workshop later this month designed to empower the community to write successful grant applications.

The workshop will be held online, led by experts from Non Profit Training, an organisation which has provided support to Australian not for profit organisations for more than 10 years.

Golden Plains Shire mayor Cr Sarah Hayden said the workshop will help community members improve their grant writing skills for upcoming opportunities.

“This free grant writing workshop is designed to assist participants in the grant writing process, providing a clear understanding of what’s required and learn practical strategies for writing effective grant applications that improve their chances of success,” she said.

“The workshop will also help local community groups and organisations be well informed ahead of community funding opportunities which will open soon.”

The online workshop will take place from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday 29 April.
