Friday night fete at Buninyong PS
AFTER 5pm Buninyong Primary School’s grounds on Friday, 22 March will come alive for their school fete.
It’s a student run fete with all the kids in the school’s 34 classes, and their teachers, involved in the planning, setting up and running in excess of 40 stalls and some of the activities on the night.
The fete is the annual major fundraiser held by the school.
Dumplings, pancakes, pulled-pork rolls are just some of the delicacies for sale, all made by the school’s pupils and their parents.
“Bring your kids and you can have tea as well,” said David Young, Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning.
A spinning wheel and silent auction promise the community the chance to take home some great prizes, being drawn every half an hour throughout the night.
Outside vendors will set up carnival rides, jumping castle, games, face painting, food stalls and wine tastings to keep the kids and the mums and dads entertained.
The funds raised go towards assisting to maintain and upgrade school grounds at both the Buninyong and Scotsburn campuses.
The fete will be held at Buninyong Primary School, 202 Simpson Street Buninyong on Friday, 22 March from 5pm to 8pm.
