Fundraiser to support family violence service

DISCOVER the Old Colonists’ Club, create networks and enjoy a culinary experience on Thursday, 2 May to raise funds and awareness for WRISC Family Violence Support.

Hosted by Chris Packer and Associates, Community Connections – A Time for Change will begin at 5.30pm, calling to break cycles of violence that deny people their rights.

Local produce will be championed as attendees enjoy canapes and tasting boards by Yve Catering.

White Ribbon ambassador, Cr Des Hudson OAM will give a welcome address and live entertainment will be provided by father¬ – daughter musical duo, Paul and Lucy Nolan.

Chris Packer, Director of Chris Packer and Associates thanked those who have donated time or items for the evening which will further generate money to stay in, and assist, the local community.

Tickets are available at eventbrite.com.au for $25 per person. Drinks are at bar prices.
