Get wild this Good Friday!

ANIMALS will be on the agenda for visitors to next week’s Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal event.

Wildlife Xposure, a specialist in interactive animal presentations, will be donating their time, animals and expertise for the cause.

The company shows a range of unique Australian wildlife where children can get hands on with the creatures.

“We do interactive wildlife incursions and events, and we teach children about the importance of biodiversity, sustainability and Australian wildlife,” said owner Madeleine Morello.

“By teaching children from an early age with that hands on experience it evokes a passion inside them to want to protect animals later in life.”

Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal organisers welcomed Wildlife Xposure’s donation of their time and expertise.

It’s something the animal experience provider was keen to do.

“We’ve always done a good Friday appeal event,” said Ms Morello. “Inverleigh isn’t too far from where we’re based in Torquay and it’s just a wonderful cause.

“It’s something close to our hearts, children. We’re in a position where we can and are happy to donate our time.”

Ms Morello said she hopes the day is a fun experience for children and their families.

“We hope that we are there not only as a form of entertainment but also as a form of education on diverse Australian wildlife,” she said.

The Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal will be held at Victoria Park at Inverleigh from 10am to 4pm on Friday, 7 April.
